PURPOSE OF THE ROLE We are looking for a production journalist to be a key member of BBC Scotland’s award winning TV news team. At the heart of our content is Reporting Scotland and The News at Seven. Reporting Scotland’s 18.30 programme usually attracts the largest audience share to BBC One’s schedule. Our presenters Laura Miller and Laura Goodwin lead viewers through the day’s top stories from across the whole of the country. The News at Seven launched on the BBC Scotland Channel in January this year. We provide news in a more conversational style. We bring more content to the day’s top stories and also report on the issues affecting communities. We’re not afraid to champion Scottish culture and people’s achievements. |
