Reuters seeks an experienced newsroom leader with the skills and experience to run editorial operations and manage challenging situations to become our General Manager, North Asia. The General Manager, North Asia will work with editors and newsroom managers to support our bureaus in Greater China, Korea and Japan to produce outstanding journalism, meet and exceed client expectations, adapt quickly to new technologies, and do so while ensuring the safety and well-being of our journalists. Based in Beijing, the successful candidate will work closely with the teams on the ground and the editorial safety team to navigate a challenging reporting landscape – securing world-class reporting while safeguarding our teams. This is an important and challenging role, at the heart of some of Reuters most important news bureaus, and it promises significant opportunity for professional growth, in an exciting location. |
