The Associated Press seeks a talented visual journalist with a history of successful television and online video storytelling to join its team in Germany as a videojournalist. In this role, you’ll use video, graphics and editing techniques to deliver visually engaging journalism as part of a dynamic, round-the-clock operation that covers Germany and Europe. Responsibilities: Reporting to the senior producer in Germany, you will primarily shoot, write and edit video – including LIVE video – stories from Germany for AP’s broadcast, digital and mobile customers and platforms. In this role, you will also pitch, develop and research enterprise stories. You may contribute reporting in other media formats, including text, photos and audio, to help produce a competitive and comprehensive all-formats news report. You must be prepared to travel extensively, including outside of Germany – often at short notice – to cover breaking news. |
