Context & Mission The “Public Engagement” unit is made up of 3 employees and 2 trainees specializing in media relations and events. The team is part of the communication and fundraising department. The person in this position will actively contribute to the implementation of the media strategy and the "engagement" strategy won aimed at strengthening the visibility and image of MSF, as well as informing the Swiss public about the social mission, the values, MSF projects and to give a voice to people vulnerable as a result of wars, emergencies and crises around the world. The person in this position will engage on a daily basis with the press and media throughout Switzerland and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks – including placing articles, proactively maintaining relations with the media and journalists. Switzerland with a focus on Romandie as well as media monitoring. Due to his good command of French and English, the incumbent guarantees the quality of press releases in French, and, if necessary, provides occasional assistance in writing, proofreading or translation. |
