Job Vacancy: Regional Editor (MENA) - UNHCR |
Location: Beirut, Lebanon |
Based in Beirut, you’ll oversee our multimedia teams (video/photo/text/social media) producing English and Arabic language content about refugees, internally displaced people, stateless people and host communities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Minimum 12 years of journalistic reporting, writing and video production experience, including in the field, preferably with a leading publication, media organisation or news agency. Ability to recruit talent and direct teams is essential, as well as liaising with UNHCR’s country offices, regional bureau and headquarters. Previous experience reporting in the region and on humanitarian issues is highly desired, as is the ability to speak and write in Arabic. |
