Euro Crisis Meeting

The mini EU-Summit with the Italian Premier Mario Monti, the German Cancellor Angela Merkel, the French President François Hollande and the Spanish Premier Mariano Rajoy will take place in Rome on next 22 June 2012.

The meeting will be essentially dedicated to the eurocrisis and to the possible scenarius and solutions.

Monti, Merkel, Hollande, Rajoy to meet in Rome

The leaders of France, Germany, Spain and Italy will meet in Rome on June 22. A spokesperson for Spanish prime minister Mariano Rajoy said Italian prime minister Mario Monti will receive Rajoy, French President Francois Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Rome on June 22 to discuss the euro zone economic crisis. The meeting of the 4 leaders will be held one week before the EU summit on June 28-29 and after the June 17 general elections in France and Greece.

Rome, Italy - June 22, 2012

Angela Merkel, François Hollande and Mariano Rajoy are scheduled to meet with Italian prime minister Mario Monti in Rome on June 22nd.

The four-way meeting between Germany, France, Spain and Italy to discuss the eurozone financial crises comes after the Greek elections and ahead of a crucial EU Summit at the end of June.

The Hollande - Merkel - Monti - Rajoy closing press conference for the June 22, 2012, Summit in Rome is scheduled at 14.00 GMT.
