A legislative election will take place on 10 and 17 June to elect the 14th National Assembly of the Fifth Republic of France. All 577 single member seats in the assembly, including overseas departments and territories, will be contested using a two-round system. The election comes a month after the presidential election won by François Hollande of the Socialist Party.

Paris, France - June 17, 2012
The second round of the French parliamentary election will take place on Sunday June 17, 2012.
President Francois Hollande's Socialists and allies could emerge with a majority after first round voting in French parliamentary elections. Left-wing and green parties won a total of more than 46% of the vote compared to 34% for the centre-right UMP party.
However, it is difficult hard to predict accurately what the final tallies will be before next week's decisive round of voting. In many constituencies there will be a three way run-off.
The result of the parliamentary election will determine the pace of reform and how radical it becomes.
1. Eurovision Special Events will establish its main broadcast center near the Champs Elysées at 58, Avenue Marceau in Paris.
Facilities will include:
Standup positions for live program inserts offering views of the Eiffel Tower.
Tape playout (multi-format)
Linear or non linear editing with editor
Access to available pool signal for broadcasters' own recorders.

2. Eurovision Special Events is also planning to provide facilities from the Socialist party Headquarters in Paris.
