Moscow, Russia - 18-19 June 2012

The sextet , so-called P5+1group of nations -- comprising UN Security Council permanent members BritainChina, France, Russia and the United States, plus Germany will hold consultations Moscow on June, 18-19.

Russia has made thorough preparations for a meeting of the six international mediators and Iran. The meeting, due in Moscow on the 18th and 19th of June, will focus on Iran’s nuclear problem.

There are reasons to believe that yet another move will be made in the Russian capital on the path towards a settlement of Iran’s nuclear problem.. Russia is opposed to unilateral sanctions, including the European Union’s oil embargo against Iran.

The West suspects Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the guise of a programme to use nuclear power for peaceful purposes. The EU slapped sanctions on Iran in late January banning the imports of Iranian oil and oil products. The embargo is due to come into effect on July, 1st .

Eurovision Special Events will offer production and transmission facilities from the square opposite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moscow, including:
