Overon

The Council will deal with industry and internal market issues. It will try to agree a general approach on two legal proposals on an out-of-court dispute resolution system for consumers: firstly, a draft directive ensuring that consumers can lodge complaints against traders to entities offering alternative dispute resolution procedures aimed at facilitating an amicable solution; secondly, a draft regulation providing a European online platform for resolution of disputes concerning cross-border online sales.
