Baghdad will host a meeting on May 23-24 between Iran and representatives of the so-called P5+1 group, which comprises the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany.

The US and its allies suspect that Iran intends to produce nuclear weapons. Iran denies that, insisting that its nuclear programme is for peaceful purposes.
