Interpol has issued an arrest warrant for Tariq al-Hashemi, Iraq's Vice President who is currently in Turkey, on suspicion of guiding and financing terrorist attacks in the country.

Head of Interpol Ronald Noble said "The Interpol Red Notice against Tariq al-Hashemi will significantly restrict his ability to travel and cross international borders."

al-Hashemi said in a press conference in Istanbul on Friday, that he has no faith in the Iraqi justice system and fears for his life.
