Sudanese ministry of defence said Saturday four foreigners have been arrested in the sensitive Heglig oilfield area, scene of recent fighting with South Sudanese army.
Sudanese officials said the arrested four are from UK, Norway, South Africa and South Sudan and were engaged in "suspicious activities".
Meanwhile, a South Sudanese military spokesman reported ongoing fighting and accused Sudan of bombings sites in Unity state Saturday, but a Sudanese military spokesman denied any such attacks.
