Since 1987 Berlin had violent excesses in Kreuzberg around 1 May - demonstrations . Policemen and demonstrator injured and devastated roads - this was the result at the end of the day in the last years.
7000 policemen are on the streets this year to guarantee a peaceful Workers Day in Berlin and prevent feared riots.
