The Council will be called on to reach a general approach on revised capital requirement rules with a view to initiating negotiations with the European Parliament. The presidency and the Commission will report to the Council on the main outcomes of the G20 finance ministers' and central bank governors' meeting and the IMF spring meetings in Washington on 20-22 April 2012.
