May 30-31, 2012

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will be hosting the Baltic Sea States Summit in Stralsund on 30 and 31 May 2012.

Heads of State and Government from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russia, Sweden and the European Commission are expected to participate.

Media Accreditation Deadline: Thurs. 17 May 2012 at 22:00 GMT
All journalists with a valid long-term accreditation issued by the Press and Information Office of the Federal Government must register individually giving their names by this deadline.

Journalists who do not have a valid long-term accreditation must register online at www.akkreditierung.bundesregierung.de
and then use the user name and password to register and become accred-ited.

Eurovision Special Events will provide production and transmission facilities in Stralsund, including:

Standup positions for Live programme inserts
Playout (multi-format)
Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network
Technical access to pool signals will be made available in the press centre by the German Press and Information Office.
