Pakistani aviation officials say a passenger jet with 127 people on board has crashed close to the capital.

They say the Bhoja Air jet crashed as it was landing in bad weather on
Friday.

The officials didn't give their names because of the sensitivity of their
positions.

Witnesses close to the Baria Town residential complex near the airport say
emergency vehicles can be seen in the area.
