International ministerial meeting on Syria in France

An international ministerial meeting to review the situation in Syria will be held today in Paris at the initiative of French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe, the foreign ministry announced. Today's meeting will come just two days after the first meeting of the international working group on sanctions against Syria in Paris, which was aimed to pressure the country to comply with its obligations in accordance with UN-Arab League joint envoy Kofi Annan's plan and end the violence.
