The European Forum for New Ideas is a discussion forum of the EU business environment. The event in Sopot is planned for the 28-30 of September 2011 and is to be organized in relation to the Polish Presidency of the EU. High representatives of the EU states as well as Brazil, China or India are participate. The president of the European Parliament, Jerzy Buzek, assumed his honorary patronage of the Forum, as well as the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski. The 2009 economic Nobel Prize winner, Oliver E. Williamson, has confirmed his participation.
