OIC's Executive Committee Meets In Istanbul Over Humanitarian Crisis In Somalia
The Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the level of Foreign Ministers will hold an emergency meeting in Istanbul on Wednesday,17 August 2011 to discuss the catastrophic humanitarian crisis in Somalia and its danger to African countries. The gathering would be addressed by the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Somalia, Sheikh Sherif Ahmad, and the OIC Secretary General Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
