The Spanish fashion designer Jesus del Pozo, died Saturday in Madrid at age 65 due to lung disease.

Jesus del Pozo, who started as an interior designer, opened his first menswear store in 1974.

Years later, the creations of the artist that has a "Golden Needle" and the Medal of Fine Arts, paraded down the catwalks of the world and became a reference in Spanish fashion.
