The 2012 Russian presidential elections are to be held on 4 March 2012. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev proposed that his former mentor stand for the Presidency in 2012 - an offer which Putin accepted.

IHA is operational in Moscow (Russia) - with it's mobile SNG facilties next to the Red Square and the Kreml as background.

Moscow, Russian Federation 03-05 March 2012

Five contenders are expected to run in the Russian Presidential Elections on March 4, 2012, including Russian PM Vladimir Putin (“United Russia”), Gennadiy Zyuganov (“Communist Party of the Russian Federation”), Vladimir Zhirinovsky (“Liberal-Democraty Party of Russia”), Sergey Mironov (“A Fair Russia”) and 1 independent candidate (businessman Mikhail Prokhorov).

Yabloko party founder Grigory Yavlinsky is likely to be disqualified from the presidential race because too many of his signatures of support were considered invalid by the Central Elections Committee

Accreditation: Press need a press-visa and an accreditation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to work in Russia, as well as an accreditation with the Central Electoral Comission (CEC).
The CEC accreditation deadline is 17 February 2012.
