September 11th: Nairobi, Kenya

While the eyes of the world will be focused on Ground Zero in New York on September 11th, many others will remember the first Al Qaeda bombs which were detonated simultaneously in Nairobi and Dar es Salam on the 7th August 1998.

The Nairobi bomb at the US Embassy killed over 200 people and injured 4000 others. GlobeCast will be on site at the Memorial Park which has been created on the site of the former American Embassy.
