Brussels, Belgium - July 21, 2011

A meeting of the Heads of State or Government of the euro area will be held on 21 July at the invitation of the President of the European Council, Herman Van Rompuy.

The agenda will be the financial stability of the Euro area as a whole and the future financing of the Greek programme.

The meeting is scheduled for 10.00 GMT. It will be held in the Justus Lipsius building in Brussels, where the press centre will also be based.

Eurozone debt summit in Brussels

Eurozone nations will be held an extraordinary summit on July 21 in Brussels on ways to tackle the debt crisis and provide fresh aid for bailed-out Greece, EU president Herman Van Rompuy said Friday.
