From 20th August till 11th September 2011 the world of cycling draws its attention to Spain for the 66th edition of Vuelta.

This year's Tour of Spain has 21 stages and covers a total distance of 3,300 kilometres with 9 flat stages, 10 mountain stages, 1 team time-trial stage and 1 individual time-trial stage.

Running from August the 20th (Benidorm) to Sunday September the 11th (madrid) 2011, the 66th edition of the Vuelta a Españal will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,300 kilometres.

These stages have the following profiles:
- 9 flat stages,
- 10 mountain stages
- 1 individual time-trial stage
- 1 team time-trial stage
