Kiev, Ukraine - June 30 - July 2, 2012
Spain will face Italy in the final of UEFA Euro 2012™, the European Football Championship, at the Olympic Stadium in Kiev, Sunday 1 July 2012.
Spain are unbeaten in 11 European Championship finals; a new record. “La Roja’s” last loss in the competition was the 1-0 reverse to Portugal at Euro 2004.
“Il Azzurri” have reached the final of eight World Cups or European Championships. Italy has only won one European Championship, winning a final replay 2-0 against Yugoslavia at Rome's Stadio Olimpico in 1968.
If Spain beat Italy they would make history by winning three consecutive major football tournements.
Eurovision Special Events are present outside the exclusive zone away from the rights holders area in Kiev.
Eurovision Special Events has established production and transmission facilities at two locations outside the exclusive zones in Kiev, including:
1) Kiev - Olympic Stadium backdrop (30 June - 1 July)

Connectivity to the Eurovision Global Network in HD & SD
