Islamabad: A devastating fire broke out in the nursery of the Gynaecology Ward at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad, resulting in the deaths of 15 newborn babies. Rescue teams immediately reached the hospital and launched an operation to control the fire and evacuate the babies. Fifteen newborn babies reportedly died in the tragic incident, while one baby was successfully rescued.
