From 6-15 March 2026, northern Italy will host the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, an international sporting event for athletes with disabilities. The Paralympic Winter Games were originally staged in Sweden in 1976, and this event will commemorate their 50th anniversary.
