Russia-Ukraine War Trilateral Talks

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says two days of trilateral meetings involving the U.S., Ukraine and Russia are due to begin Friday in the United Arab Emirates.

The meeting in the UAE capital of Abu Dhabi comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed a settlement in Ukraine with U.S. President Donald Trump’s envoys during marathon overnight talks. The Kremlin insisted that territorial issues need to be resolved to reach a peace deal.

Kremlin foreign affairs adviser Yuri Ushakov, who took part in Putin’s meeting with Trump’s envoys, confirmed that a Russian delegation will take part in Friday’s meeting in Abu Dhabi.
