The next Brazilian general election will be held on 4 October 2026, to elect the president, vice president, National Congress, state governors, and state legislative assemblies. A runoff voting round is scheduled for 25 October 2026, if no presidential or gubernatorial candidate secures an absolute majority in the first round. Current President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is eligible to seek a fourth term.
