ANKARA | TURKIYE, 24 DECEMBER 2025

A private jet crashed in the Haymana district south of Ankara on Tuesday evening after losing contact after takeoff from Esenboğa Airport. The aircraft was en route to Tripoli. All passengers were killed, including Libya’s army chief Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
