US VP Presidential Debate
New York, USA | Sept.30 - Oct. 2, 2024

After the first and possibly only televised debate between President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, attention turns to the two candidates' choices for the vice-presidency.

The only planned debate between Republican Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is set for New York City on Oct. 1. The debate will be hosted by CBS News and will be moderated by "CBS Evening News" anchor Norah O'Donnell and "Face the Nation" moderator Margaret Brennan.

Harris is largely seen as having won the debate with Trump in Philadelphia, despite the former president's statements to the contrary. Trump has said he won't be participating in further debates with his Democratic opponent.
