The Vatican announced, Thursday, that His Holiness, Pope Francis, Pope of the Catholic Church, will visit South Sudan next July.

The visit is the first of its kind after it was repeatedly postponed due to security concerns, in this country that is still trying to recover from the civil war, as the 11th anniversary of the secession of South Sudan from Sudan falls in July.
