After calls by extremist settlers to slaughter sacrifices at Al-Aqsa Mosque, Palestinian calls began to go to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Rabat to defend it, as fears erupted from repeating last year's scenario.

Jewish Temple Mount groups have called for organizing mass stormings of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish Passover holiday, and to offer animal sacrifices in its courtyards on Friday 15th June. The call to march through the Muslim holy site was posted on social media and said that settlers intend to carry out animal sacrifices. Tensions are likely to rise if official Israeli forces joined in provocations against Al-Aqsa.
