U.S. - RUSSIA SECURITY TALKS

Geneva, Switzerland
10 - 11 January 2022

Delegations from the US and Russia begin high-level talks in Geneva on Monday, 10 January, after weeks of tension over Russian troop deployments near the border with Ukraine. US Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman, the No. 2 official at the U.S. State Department, will meet Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. The meeting is part of the Strategic Security Dialogue initiated by Biden and Putin at their summit last June.
