Eurovision News Events

French Presidential Election - Second Round
22 to 25 April 2022 - Paris, France

Incumbent President Emmanuel Macron and right wing Marine Le Pen in the second round of the Presidential Election. The two candidates will face off in a debate on 20 April, 4 days before voters head to the poll.

We'll be offering live stand-up positions at the two candidates' Election Night Party venues, which are still to be determined. There have been some suggestions that Le Pen could hold it at the Trocadero, perhaps in a nod to right wing candidate Zemmour who held a large event there a few weeks ago. In 2017, Macron celebrated his victory at the Louvre. We are talking regularly to both campaigns, but please check back on our website for any updates, including credentials and access - but don't expect to access the venue until the day of the election, and not before the afternoon.

From our rooftop venue with the iconic view pictured above, we can offer studio/anchoring spaces, fully equipped stand-up positions and also unmanned positions with connectivity, workspace areas and radio studios. Bear in mind that we can help from locations like Washington, D.C., Berlin or Brussels for your correspondent's reporting on reactions from various leaders.
