PEACE CONFERENCE ON LIBYA
Foreign Minister Heiko Maas and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres have invited the participating states and regional organisations of the Berlin Process to the Second Berlin Conference on Libya, which will take place on 23 June at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin. This will be the first time that the Libyan transitional Government of National Unity is represented at such an event.

Libya Peace Talks

BERLIN, GERMANY
Germany and the United Nations will host a second round of peace talks on Libya in Berlin on 23 June. This will be the first time that the Libyan transitional Government of National Unity will participate in the talks. The agenda will focus on preparations for the upcoming elections on 24 December and the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign troops from Libya.
Deutsche-Welle is the Host Broadcaster for this event, with Eurovision News Events providing global distribution of the live coverage free of charge.
