Portuguese EU Presidency - Informal Meeting of European Affairs Ministers

In the context of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union, on 17 May, the Informal Meeting of European Affairs Ministers will take place at the Convent of São Francisco, in Coimbra.

RTP, as Host Broadcaster, guarantees access to the international signal on site, in the TV Compound, installed next to the Convent of São Francisco. Distribution of the signal will also be available via the EBU satellite network and via the EBU digital platform (Newsdirect).

The preliminary schedule for the international signal for May 17 is as follows:

International Signal: 11:30 - 14:00 GMT
11:30 - Stockshots
12:00 - Arrivals + Declarations to the media
13:30 - Round Table
International Signal: 16:30 - 19:00 GMT
17:00 – Family Photo
17:30 - Press Conference
18:30 - Highlights

The Host Broadcaster will provide the following services and technical facilities on site:
• Access to the international signal
• International signal distribution through the EBU satellite network
• Distribution on the EBU's digital platform, Newsdirect, of video and audio clips
• Limited space in the TV compound for mobile units - with access to technical power
• Partially equipped stand-ups - with power, WI-FI and lighting

Services and technical facilities, including the satellite feeds, will be free of charge and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
