Libya's interim Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibeh visits Turkey at the invitation of Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
As part of the two-day official visit on 12th and 13th of April, the first meeting of the Turkey-Libya High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council will be held in capital Ankara. The council meeting will be jointly chaired by Erdogan and Dbeibeh, and will be attended by ministers from both countries, the statement said.
Turkey had backed the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) against the eastern-based Libyan National Army (LNA), which was supported by Russia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, among others.
