The latest round of talks between Egypt, Ethiopia and Sudan over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) have ended with no progress made.

According to analysts:
Egypt or Sudan may take a final step, which is going to the Security Council, for international embarrassment in the case. And so that no one is internationally blamed.
After that, the Egyptian Parliament met to authorize the president and the armed forces to take the appropriate decision to protect Egypt's water share.
