Vatican Consistory to create 13 new Cardinals

ROME, ITALY

Pope Francis will create 13 new Cardinals at the Vatican on 28 November at an unusual Consistory ceremony adapted to Coronavirus social distancing measures. The new cardinals will receive their red birettas and rings before a restricted gathering and two will not travel to Rome at all due to COVID – 19 prevention restrictions.
