US CAPITOL WEST FRONT - CUSTOM LIVE SHOTS IN 6 LANGUAGES
Custom live shots in six languages from the West Front overlooking the inaugural swearing-in ceremony.
Due to social distancing, this position is not available to rotating correspondents; however AP's Int'l Affiliate Reporter Philip Crowther will be located at the West Front, at your disposal to provide custom live shots for your news bulletins in the following languages:

Luxembourgish.

TERRACE OVERLOOKING THE CAPITOL
Weather protected rooftop overlooking the US Capitol.

Due to heightened security measures, movement within the security perimeter (i.e., the US Capitol and the National Mall) will be restrictive and slow. We highly recommend that you allow enough time to move from one live location to another or, better yet, assign team members to be at a specific location. WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES

President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris will be sworn in during the 59th inaugural ceremonies scheduled for 20 January 2021. The ceremonies will take place at the U.S. Capitol building although the scale of the event is still being considered due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The following services will be on offer:

Capitol Steps/ West Front:

Single camera standup positions on the Capitol Steps/ West front platform. Please note the Radio and TV Gallery who manage these positions have not yet confimed availability as they await guidance from the Biden Campaign.

Capitol Rooftop

Rooftop overlooking the Capitol at 300 New Jersey Avenue.. These positions are tented and heated and more suitable for long programming.

This location will have both single and two-camera bookable positions.

White House Rooftop:

We can also offer positions from a rooftop overlooking the White House. This location will have single camera positions that can be combined into two-camera positions on special request.

Parade Route/ Freedom Plaza/ WH Lafayette Park:

We are expecting positions to be on offer along the Parade Route at Freedom Plaza and from Lafaette Park across from the White House. Please note we are still awaiting official guidance from the Presidential Inaugural Committee who manages these positions.
