Salvamento Marítimo, un barco de la compañía Mediterránea Pitiusa que ha partido de La Savina y un velero que se hallaba en la zona han evacuado y rescatado sobre las nueve y media de la noche del martes a los pasajeros del EcoLux fast ferry de la compañía Baleária que cubría la línea marítima Ibiza-Formentera tras sufrir una colisión y una vía de agua a la altura del islote de Castaví. A bordo viajaban 17 personas, 12 pasajeros y cinco tripulantes, que han resultado heridos leves como consecuencia del accidente, uno de ellos sufrió una hipotermia leve y ansiedad tras lanzarse al mar. Una ambulancia de SVA les atendió en el puerto de la Savina. No fue necesario trasladar a ningún pasajero al hospital, han informado desde el Centro Coordinador del SAMU 061.
