Several memorial services will be held for George Floyd in the coming days, after a week of sometimes violent protests across the United States. Memorial and funeral services will be held in states Minnesota, North Carolina and Texas.

This Thursday, a memorial service will be held in Minneapolis. The civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton will deliver a eulogy. A statement from Floyd family attorney Benjamin Crump will be delivered and Floyd's family members will participate.

The public viewing, funeral and burial will be held in Houston, next Monday and Tuesday. Former Vice President Joe Biden plans to attend the funeral.
