TOKYO, JAPAN

The 2020 Summer Olympics, which were pushed back a year because of the COVID pandemic, will kick off in Tokyo with the Opening Ceremony on 23 July. Organizers recently announced that a limited number of fans - Japanese residents only - will be allowed to attend the Games, but warned that rules might change again if coronavirus cases increase.

Eurovision News Events is planning to offer live positions with a beautiful view of the Olympic Stadium for your coverage of the opening and closing ceremonies, and throughout the Games. The live positions are located outside of the accredited zone.
