The new two-man race for the Democratic Party nomination heads to the next slew of states this Tuesday. Former Vice-President Joe Biden and Senator Bernie Sanders will go head-to-head after other candidates left the race following Super Tuesday.

The big prize this Tuesday is Michigan, one of the states that then-candidate Donald Trump surprisingly won in 2016. During the Michigan primary, Bernie Sanders created his own upset by beating Hillary Clinton, a first sign that white working-class voters were looking for someone to vote for outside of the mainstream.

Now, Biden could burst that bubble and land a big blow to Sanders' presidential ambitions. The states of Washington, Missouri, Mississippi, Idaho, and North Dakota also vote on Tuesday, and decisive wins for Biden would keep the momentum firmly on his side.
