NETANYAHU & GANTZ TO VISIT THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON, DC, USA | 28 JANUARY 2020

The White House has announced that both Israeli Prime Minister and his political rival Benny Gantz will meet President Donald Trump in Washington on January 28.

They will discuss regional matters and "the possibility of peace in the holy land," Vice President Mike Pence said in Jerusalem, where he officially invited Netanyahu. The Israeli Prime Minister then invited Gantz to join the meeting, according to Pence.

The Trump administration's Israeli-Palestinian peace plan is rumored to be nearing its release next week and is expected to be discussed at the White House.

Trump Mideast Peace Plan

WASHINGTON, D.C., UNITED STATES

US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are due to unveil the US Middle East Peace Plan at the White House, following discussions yesterday. They’ll make joint remarks in the East Room. Trump announced yesterday that he was confident the Palestinians would eventually accept his plan despite not including them in the talks. The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Trump will “for the first time publicize a map outlining the borders of a proposed Palestinian state.”
