Double suicide bombing in Tunis
27/06/2019
TUNIS, TUNISIA

Two suicide bombings occurred targeting security forces in Tunis. The first blast appears to have hit a police patrol in the central Charles De Gaulle Avenue and killed a police officer. The second explosion happened a few minutes later near a door of the police department and injured several people. The explosions come at a moment of political uncertainty as 92 year old Tunisian President Essebsi was rushed to hospital. His condition is uncertain.
