NEYMAR TO TESTIFY AGAINST RAPE ALLEGATION

Brazilian football star Neymar is expected to testify in Sao Paulo about the rape allegation by a 26-year old model.

The complaint filed by Najila Trindade alleges Neymar raped her in a Paris hotel room May 15.

Neymar denies the rape accusation. Police officials have said he is expected to meet with investigators today or Thursday, but no final agreement on the date was announced.

The Associated Press is now operational from the panoramic glass studio at AP's Rio de Janeiro bureau.
