Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg has died at the age of 98, his son Henri has said in a statement on April 23th

He had recently been admitted to hospital suffering from a pulmonary infection, and passed away surrounded by his family, the statement said.

The government proclaimed that national mourning will take place until Saturday, 4 May, at 6.00 p.m.
Funeral will take place on May 4th in the Cathedral of Luxembourg City at 11am
