BOEING 737 MAX - REACTION
BOEING HEADQUARTERS, CHICAGO, USA | 12 MARCH 2019 - onwards

A crash of an Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max 8 killed 157 people Sunday. A Lion Air model of the same plane crashed in Indonesia in October, killing 189 people.

China has ordered its airlines to ground their Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. and Ethiopian Airlines and Cayman Airways both are doing the same.

Boeing has delivered about 350 737 Max planes to scores of airlines and has orders for more than 5,000. The 737 is the best-selling airliner in history, and the Max, the newest version of it with more fuel-efficient engines, is a central part of Boeing’s strategy to compete with European rival Airbus.
